Who is responsible for the payment?

In Saudi Arabia, companies typically pay only 2,000 Saudi riyals for the transfer of Iqama sponsorship and ask employees to pay the remaining amount. For example, in the case of a third transfer, the employer pays 2,000 Saudi riyals and the employee pays 4,000 Saudi riyals.

However, according to Article 40(3) of the Saudi Labor Law, the transfer of Iqama is the responsibility of the employer to whom an employee is transferred.

For example, if you are transferred from Kafeel A to Kafeel B, Kafeel B will pay the entire Iqama transfer fee.
