In order to validate any document issued by your employer, you need a certificate or stamp from the Chamber of Commerce, whether online or manually.
Why do I need a certificate from the Chamber of Commerce?
In general, external parties do not trust letters issued by private companies without certification from the Chamber of Commerce. A Chamber of Commerce stamp is not required for government correspondence.
Here are some letters generally certified by the Chamber of Commerce:
- Letter of introduction for visa processing
- Family Visit Visa Application Form
- Letter requesting a permanent family visa
- Online certificate from the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce
Many companies have created online accounts with the Chamber of Commerce to complete the certifications.
If you work for such a company, your company's human resources department will affix the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce's stamp to the letters online. Furthermore, you will not need to visit the Chamber of Commerce to submit your family visit visa application, as this will also be done online.
