This service allows each resident who has renewed their passport to update their information in the official Saudi system, an essential condition to guarantee the validity of their stay and the accuracy of their administrative documents.
Conditions for updating passport information on Absher
- Minimum age requirement:
- Updating passport information is only permitted if you are over 18 years old.
- Update frequency:
- You can update your passport information once every five years via the Absher platform.
- Validity of the current passport:
- Updating information is not possible if the remaining validity period of the current passport exceeds 12 months.
- Traffic violations:
- Passport information cannot be updated if there are unresolved traffic offences on the residence record.
- Resident status:
- The resident's status must not be "Absent from work" and they must be present in Saudi territory.
- Payment of service fees:
- Payment of the service fee is mandatory. (directly to your Absher account)
How do I perform the update?
Here are the steps to follow to update passport information via the platform Absher :
- Log in to the Absher website
- Visit the official platform: Absher.sa
- Select “My Services”
- Select “Passports”
- Select “Resident Identity Services”
- Select “Update passport information”
- Finally, choose the "Update passport information" service (تحديث معلومات الجواز) and follow the on-screen instructions to enter your new passport data.
