Saudi Arabia has established rules allowing domestic pilgrims to cancel packages related to the annual Hajj pilgrimage after having selected one.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the opening of registrations for Saudi citizens and foreign Muslims residing in Saudi Arabia wishing to perform Hajj, and has launched four packages with prices ranging from 4,099 SR to 13,265 SR depending on the level of accommodation.
The ministry indicated that cancellation of the chosen package is permitted free of charge from the start of registration until the 14th of Shawwal, the 10th month of the lunar calendar, which should correspond as of April 23, 2024, and the pilgrim will be fully reimbursed.
In the event that the pilgrim's Hajj permit application is rejected by the Ministry of the Interior, 67.85 SR will be deducted for electronic service fees.
