Description
Family-friendly open spaces located at the foot of Mount Uhud, a highly historical site. Allows children to stretch their legs while being in close proximity to the site of the Battle of Uhud (3 AH). Plenty of space for running and picnicking. Parking available. Combine with a visit to Archers' Hill (Jabal Al Rumat) and the Shuhadas Cemetery (where Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib and 70 companions are buried). Free entry. Educational: parents can tell the story of Uhud to their children in the very setting where it took place.
