Saudi Arabia has implemented a convenient system to facilitate the delivery of family members' residency cards (Iqama) directly to their homes. This is made possible through the platform Absher and through partnership with Saudi Post (SPL), residents can avoid unnecessary travel and receive their Iqama safely at home.
Steps to Receive the Physical Iqama at Home
- Log in to your Absher account:
- Go to www.absher.sa.
- Log in to your account with your credentials (username and password).
- Access the "Services and Family Members" section:
- Once connected, click on «Resident ID Services» in the main menu.
- Select your Family Member:
- Click on the option «"Request the delivery of the Iqama"».
- Make sure that all personal information for the family member is correct (name, Iqama number, etc.).
- Choose the Delivery Address:
- Check or update your address in the dedicated section.
- The registered address must be accurate and match the one registered in the Saudi Post system.
- Make the Delivery Fee Payment:
- Home delivery is available for a fee (standard rate applied by Saudi Post).
- Make the payment via one of the options available on Absher or by credit card.
- Follow the shipment:
- Once the request is validated, a tracking number will be provided to you.
- You can track the status of your shipment on the website of Saudi Post or via their application.
- Receive your Iqama:
- The Iqama will be delivered to the address provided within a few days.
Terms and Conditions for Using this Service
- The primary resident must have an active account on Absher.
- The Iqama must be ready to be issued (renewal or first issue already validated).
- No fines or unpaid fees should be outstanding.
