The Saudi Arabian Ministry of the Interior (MOI) provides numerous forms that must be completed and submitted to the authorities. These forms include the Istiqdam form, the passport update form, the Iqama form (issuance, reissue, loss), the visa application form, the name correction form for the Iqama, and many others.
Why do you need the ME forms?
In the kingdom, almost all government institutions are digitized, and most operations are conducted electronically. However, sometimes the system doesn't provide the required service online. Therefore, it's necessary to visit the offices (Jawazat, Istiqdam, Traffic Police, Visa Department) in person. This is why it's necessary to fill out these forms manually and submit them.
These forms are available and you can buy them from people sitting outside the offices. However, they charge you for the required form. So why pay for a free service?

Where can the form be used?
The Iqama form can be used in 5 different categories. These categories are Iqama, exit/re-entry visa, service transfer (naqal khidmat), adding a family member, and Naqal maloomat (updating passport information).
Each category is divided into subcategories. For the Iqama category, you can use it to request a new Iqama or renew an existing one. In case of loss or theft of the Iqama, you can select Badal Fafed (بدل فافد), and if the residence card is damaged, select Badal Talif (بدل تالف).
In addition, you can use the Iqama form for the following purposes.
- Requesting a new Iqama for a family member.
- Iqama renewal (application submitted manually)
- Requesting an Iqama for a baby born outside Saudi Arabia
- Requesting an Iqama for a newborn in Saudi Arabia

For the exit/re-entry visa
The next category is the exit/re-entry visa. It has three options: single, multiple, and final exit visa (Khurooj Nihai). سفرہ واحدہ means single exit/re-entry visa. عددۃ سفرات means multiple entries, and خروج نہاٗی means final exit visa.
In summary, the same form can be used for:
- simple exit/re-entry visa
- multiple re-entry exit visa
- Final exit visa for family members

For the transfer of services (نقل خدمات)
Transferring services means leaving an old company or kafeel (employer) and joining a new one. By checking the appropriate box on the Iqama form, you can submit a transfer request to a new kafeel.
You can change your kafeel or company 3 times by paying transfer fees that double each time.

You can add dependents under your Iqama using the category found in the 4th column. This can be a family member, a housekeeper, or anyone under your direct sponsorship.

Jawazat Passport Update Form – Naqal Maloomaat Form – نقل معلومات We have observed that the Absher portal often fails to update passport information, commonly known as Nakal Maloomat. Therefore, you must visit your nearest Jawazat office and submit the documents manually. Jawazat will then update the information immediately.
You can check it in your Absher account after a day or two. You will also receive a message on your mobile phone as soon as the information is updated.

Download the Istiqdam application form. The permanent family visa process takes place at Istiqdam offices (specific MOI offices). After receiving Istiqdam visa approval, the expatriate family undergoes a medical examination at Gamca-approved testing centers. Once the medical report confirms their fitness, the document submission process begins for the visa to be affixed to their passports.
